Veylo Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 3, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Veylo handles information when you use the app. Veylo is designed as a local-first vehicle cost tracker. By using Veylo, you agree to this Policy as it exists now and as it may be updated in the future.

This Policy applies to Veylo, its in-app features, widgets, Siri or voice handoff flows, backup, sync, purchase, analytics, and crash-reporting features where available.

The developer is responsible for Veylo's app-level privacy practices. Platform providers, app marketplaces, purchase processors, cloud providers, analytics providers, crash-reporting providers, maps, vehicle catalog services, and other third parties process data under their own terms and privacy policies.

Veylo may process vehicle data, vehicle nicknames, odometer readings, fuel, charging, maintenance, expense, station, notes, settings, currency, units, premium entitlement, backup, import, export, sync metadata, and similar app data that you enter or generate while using the app.

When you use optional features, Veylo may process location signals for station suggestions, Siri or voice draft data, widget payloads, notification settings, iCloud or cloud sync records, and files you choose to export or import.

Veylo may process limited technical data such as app version, platform, device state, diagnostics, crash reports, analytics events, purchase entitlement status, and error codes. The developer does not intentionally collect payment card numbers through Veylo.

Information is used to operate the app, save and display your vehicle history, calculate metrics, refresh widgets, schedule reminders, restore purchases, enable premium features, sync data when enabled, diagnose failures, protect the app, and improve reliability.

Analytics and crash-reporting events are designed to avoid precise location, notes, license plates, station names typed by you, exact monetary amounts, and other unnecessary personal content. You can turn Share diagnostics off in Settings; when off, Veylo disables app-level analytics and crash-report collection, subject to platform and provider limitations. Veylo does not use your app data to make legal, financial, insurance, mechanical, safety, or tax decisions for you.

Veylo's core app data is primarily stored on your device. You are responsible for protecting your device, passcode, operating system account, backups, exported files, imported files, and any data you choose to share outside the app.

The developer is not responsible for data loss caused by device loss, user deletion, operating system failure, storage corruption, failed backups, sync interruption, third-party service failure, unauthorized access to your device, or your handling of exported files, except where mandatory law provides otherwise.

Location, notifications, Siri, widgets, file access, cloud sync, and similar features may require permissions or account availability. Veylo requests contextual access only when needed for the relevant feature.

You can disable permissions or optional features in the app or system settings. Some app functionality may become unavailable or less accurate if permissions are denied or later revoked.

Veylo may use third-party or platform services for purchases, entitlement checks, analytics, crash reporting, vehicle catalog lookup, maps or station suggestions, cloud sync, widgets, notifications, file sharing, and operating system integrations.

Third-party services may collect, receive, store, transfer, or process information according to their own policies. The developer does not control those services and is not responsible for their security, availability, accuracy, retention, legal compliance, or privacy practices.

Purchases, refunds, billing, taxes, payment methods, and account-level purchase history are handled by App Store, Apple, and purchase providers. Veylo may receive purchase status, product identifiers, entitlement status, store, dates, and similar information needed to unlock or restore premium access.

The developer does not receive your full payment card number through Veylo. Purchase providers and app marketplaces may process payment and account data under their own policies.

The developer does not sell your personal data. Veylo does not rent your vehicle history, notes, location, or app data to third parties for their independent advertising.

Information may be shared only as needed to operate the app, process purchases, provide platform integrations, comply with law, protect rights and security, investigate misuse, respond to lawful requests, or complete a business transfer such as merger, acquisition, restructuring, or sale of assets.

Local app data remains on your device until you delete it, import over it, reset the app, uninstall the app, or otherwise remove it through available app or system features. Exported files remain wherever you save or share them.

Third-party providers may retain diagnostics, analytics, purchase, cloud, or platform data according to their own retention schedules. The developer may retain limited records where needed for security, legal compliance, dispute resolution, fraud prevention, accounting, or legitimate operational purposes.

Veylo uses reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to a local-first mobile app, but no app, device, network, cloud service, backup, sync process, or storage system can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure.

You are responsible for keeping your device, operating system, credentials, backups, exported files, and cloud accounts secure. Use of Veylo is at your own risk to the maximum extent permitted by law.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict, object to, or request information about personal data. Many choices can be exercised directly in the app, through device settings, through the app marketplace, or through the third-party service that processes the relevant data.

If you contact the developer about privacy rights, the developer may need enough information to verify and process the request. Some requests may be limited by local-first storage, lack of account identity, legal obligations, security needs, or third-party provider controls.

Veylo is not intended for children under 13 or for anyone who cannot legally agree to this Policy. If a parent or guardian believes a child provided personal data through Veylo, they should contact the developer through the official support channel.

Depending on the features you use and the providers involved, information may be processed or transferred in countries other than your own. Those countries may have data protection laws different from those in your jurisdiction.

Your use of Veylo must also comply with the privacy rules, account settings, and policies of App Store and Apple. The marketplace and platform provider may independently process information about downloads, purchases, usage, diagnostics, account status, and device settings.

When Veylo is distributed through the App Store, Apple may process platform, purchase, diagnostics, and account information under Apple's own privacy policies. Apple is not responsible for Veylo's app-level privacy practices.

The developer may disclose information if required by law, legal process, regulator request, court order, security investigation, rights protection, fraud prevention, enforcement of terms, or to protect users, the app, the developer, platform providers, or third parties.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, privacy-related disputes involving the developer and Veylo are governed by Brazilian law and submitted to the courts of Alegre, State of Espirito Santo, Brazil, without limiting mandatory consumer or data protection rights that cannot be waived.

The developer may update this Policy at any time to reflect product, legal, technical, provider, or operational changes. By continuing to use Veylo after an update, you accept the updated Policy. If you do not agree, stop using Veylo and uninstall it.

For privacy questions, support, or legal notices, use the support contact made available in Veylo, the app store listing, or the developer's official communication channel.
